Emmiwuks Benue state born Nigerian has officially been named the first man in Africa to ride a bicycle across 12 countries in the first phase of his historic journey of Project Nigeria to USA.
He set out from Lagos state Nigeria in July 2025, armed with nothing but faith, resilience, and a bicycle. Six months later, through deserts, borders, cold nights, fear, kindness from strangers, and moments that tested his limits. Phase One of a journey many thought was impossible.

This is not just distance covered, it is history written on African roads. From Nigeria to Mauritania, Emmiwuks carried the African spirit, the Nigerian flag, and the dreams of millions who believe that courage can move mountains, or in this case, cross nations.
And this is only the beginning.
As he prepares to continue onward to Morocco, we can only imagine what greater stories, challenges, and miracles lie ahead.
Congratulations, Champion.
You didn’t just ride across countries, you inspired a continent.
Together we Ride. Together we Rise.
The journey continues……. 🚴
