Chairman Nuel Ojei Holdings and the Oghene of Issele Uku has died at the age of 74 in his home town Issele Uku, Delta state.
He died last night, Saturday, December 27, 2025, in his hometown, Iseleuku, Delta State.
The Ogene of Iseleuku, passed last night.
“He died in his home in Iseleuku peacefully.
“He was a very distinguished person that excelled in his own life.
The famed businessman and philanthropist died aged 74, having been born Emmanuel Ojei on May 23, 1951.
The Lagos-based Chief (Dr.) Nuel Ojei was known for building the multi-sector Nuel Ojei Holdings (NOH) conglomerate, spanning auto distribution, oil & gas, banking, and more. According to his biobrief, “he started from humble beginnings at Rutam Motors to becoming a major employer and benefactor in Nigeria, recognized with an honorary doctorate from Delta State University.”
