In a strategic move for the 10th National Assembly Hon. Isa Nasidi has been appointed Senior Legislative Aide (SLA) to the Rt: Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, PhD, Honourable Speaker of the 10th National Assembly.
Before this appointment, Honourable Isa Nasidi served at the Nigerian Embassy in Berlin in the Defence Section, and also at the Nigerian Consulate in Frankfurt, where he played key roles in bilateral engagements and consular services. Honourable Isa Nasidi brings significant experience in diplomacy, international relations, and political mobilisation.
A long-time loyalist and dedicated supporter of Speaker Abbas, Hon. Nasidi was instrumental in mobilizing support for his emergence as Speaker of the 10th Assembly. He notably served as Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Germany Chapter, where he provided strategic diaspora engagement and political coordination in support of the APC’s legislative leadership.
In his new capacity as Senior Legislative Aide, Hon. Nasidi will provide expert advisory support to the Speaker, particularly in the areas of legislative coordination, stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, and diaspora relations. His unique international perspective and grassroots political experience are expected to strengthen the Speaker’s legislative vision and outreach.
The APC, Germany Chapter Chairman, Honourable Olajide Fashakin expressed confidence in the appointment, stating:
