President Donald Trump has justified the participation of his daughter, Ivanka Trump, at the G20 meeting.
Trump had delegated Ivanka to sit in for him at a meeting involving world leaders.
This had drawn criticisms; but Trump had insinuated that his closest contender for the presidency in the 2016 American presidential elections, Hillary Clinton, would do the same and that if she did, no one would have condemned her the way they had condemned him and his daughter.
Trump had tweeted: “If Chelsea Clinton were asked to hold the seat for her mother, as her mother gave our country away, the Fake News would say CHELSEA FOR PRES!”
Immediately, Chelsea Clinton took up Donald Trump and replied via a tweet: “Good morning Mr. President. It would never have occurred to my mother or my father to ask me. Were you giving our country away? Hoping not.”
