The Tourism and Cultural Diplomacy Committee (TCDC) under the Tourism Directorate of the International Society of Diplomats (ISD) is set to hold its pre-Christmas wellness and medical outreach program.
The event themed ‘Health Across Borders, Just Before Christmas’’ is scheduled to hold at the scenic Jabi Lake, Abuja, the nation’s capital, on December 12, 2025.
The one day humanitarian outreach is designed to provide free medical screenings, wellness education and preventive healthcare services to underserved communities and the general public ahead of the festive season. Organizers say, the initiative aligns with ISD’s mission of advancing diplomacy through humanity, leveraging health, tourism, and culture as tools for promoting goodwill, peace and international cooperation.
The event will bring together medical institutions, development agencies, corporate CSR foundations and diplomatic missions, creating a vibrant platform that combines healthcare service, cultural performance and global partnership visibility.
In addition to medical services, the event also includes festive activities for families, such as games for children and live music, creating a joyful atmosphere that celebrates community spirit as the year draws to a close.
With such initiatives, the Tourism and Cultural Diplomacy Committee (TCDC) under the Tourism Directorate of the International Society of Diplomats (ISD) continues to strengthen communal ties and ensure that vital health services reach those who need them most, particularly in vulnerable populations.
