The Justice Stephen Omonua (Rtd)-led seven-man panel set up by the Chief Judge (CJ) Justice Daniel Okungbowa to investigate allegation of gross misconduct levelled against the Deputy Governor, submitted Shaibu was guilty of disclosure of official secret.
After fighting the process through the courts and politically, Mister Shaibu will cease to be Obaseki’s deputy after things fell apart between both men since the deputy showed interest in running for Governor and unable to secure the party’s ticket.
