Date:

A Nigerian student, Oluwabunmi Amosu, has bagged a Masters in Education and Society from McGill University, Canada with a distinction and perfect Cumulative Grade Point Average (4.0/4.0).

Celebrating the feat, Amosu, a first class graduate from the Lagos State University, shared some photos, which she captioned, “Today, I am grateful to have graduated with a distinction and a perfect CGPA (4.0/4.0) 🏆 at McGill University, Canada 🇨🇦 (M.A Education and Society). I had a total of 15A’s in all of my courses, a milestone that I am proud of! So much hard-work 🥺.

“I dedicate this WIN to my beloved father (Sewhenu Amosu) who I lost exactly one year ago (June 2nd, 2021)❤️🕊️. Dear Papa, today I walk across the stage in honor of you. I hope you and mummy are proud of me in heaven.”

Amosu, a beneficiary of the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Program, has already founded Smart Innovation Hub, a non-profit organization promoting entrepreneurship skills among young people, particularly girls in Africa.

Speaking with PUNCH Online, Amosu said, “I feel really great. First, I am happy that I made my late parents proud. Also, I put in all the efforts and I am grateful that everything counted. All the hard work and sacrifices paid off.”
