LASG to re-introduce monthly sanitation exercise…set for launch July 13

The Lagos State Government has concluded plans to reintroduce monthly sanitation, after eight years it was councelled.
The re-introduced sanitation, according to official documents will be launched next Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Lagos Island,

It is not clear whether the new one will take the same shape with the previous exercise.
Sometime, last year, the Governor Babajide Sanwa-Olu had stated in a press conference that his administration was considering the reinstatement of its monthly environmental sanitation program to ensure the enhancement of cleanliness in the state, when he inspected of a cleanup operation of the Lagos-Badagry Expressway

The governor expressed his intention to collaborate with the Minister of Environment to explore the feasibility of reinstating the monthly environmental service.
