As part of their Lenten observance, the Knights of St. John International (KSJI)
Commandery 838 and LAUX 739, Ajao Estate, have paid a Charity Visit to the Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos. They were received by Mrs. Modupe Badmus, Head, Medical Social Service
Department, at the Gbagada General Hospital, Gbagada. Confirming this development the
Worthy President, Captain Fidel Ononuju said this intervention is to assist in paying the bills of those who have been treated or are still receiving treatment, but cannot afford to offset their bills. In his words “We do not joke with interventions like this because charity is one of
the major pillars that the Knights of St. John International stands on”. According to Ononuju, the poor and needy are integral part of us and it glorifies the name of God whenever we put smiles on their faces.
