Nigerian chef and entrepreneur, Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, brand owner “My food by Hilda” has broken the previous Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time held by an individual.
Our reporter stayed the vigil as Hilda Baci breaks the record for the longest cooking time held by an individual and now setting her own world record.
The longest cooking time held by an individual had been 87 hours, 45 minutes, set by an Indian known as Lata Tondon. Hilda Baci had set a target of 96 hours before embarking on the feat.
