History was not only made today, but the glass ceiling was shattered again at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Apia, Samoa, when the leaders announced Honourable Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, who is currently Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Ghana, as the new Secretary-General of the Commonwealth.
