So, for little Olympia, Serena Williams’ daughter, her wish to become a big sister is no longer a dream as mom, Serena Williams and dad Alexis Ohanian are expecting their second child together, after the 23-time major champion made the exciting reveal on Monday.
Stepping out for the Met Gala, Serena soon confirmed rumors of a baby bump on her social media.
“Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala,” she wrote. Donning a Gucci dress and Tiffany jewelry, the 41-year-old shared a collection of photos highlighting the happy news.
Serena famously won the 2017 Australian Open while two months pregnant, before welcoming Olympia in September 2017. Previously sharing a desire to grow their family, the subject of becoming pregnant again was one of the focuses Serena talked about in her retirement essay about “evolving away” from tennis last August.
The former world No. 1 played her final match at the 2022 US Open, also teaming up with big sister Venus Williams one last time in New York.
